Man, swelled with pride,
the pleasing poison,
shall bow disgraced,
in desperate dark.
Man, enslaved by desire,
the devouring dark,
shall be lost in search,
in an agonising abyys.
Man, consumed by greed,
the endless edge,
shall drown in the sea,
of the tyrant’s tears.
Man, subdued by sloth,
the sinking sand,
shall disappear in dust,
as a whisper in the wind.
Man, ruled by rage,
the menace monster,
shall collapse helpless,
in the ruins of remorse.
Man, blinded by envy,
the soul-sickening sight,
shall crave in starvation,
to a forbidden feast.
